Sometimes all you need to do is present the wood as it is. This small forgotten slab piece had grain you could not ignore, not to mention a fairly large void from a knot. A circle patch centers you on the swirl of the grain and that cirlcle is repeated in the leg detail. This piece is intentionally low, allowing your arm to fall into place while setting down a drink or book.
